How it works
- Activate Nyx Lotus by tapping it, adding at least 5.
- Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Staff of Domination and Basalt Monolith, untapping Nyx Lotus.
- Activate Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying 3, untapping it.
- Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Staff of Domination's other abilities and/or untap any artifact(s) you control.
This clever loop relies on Nyx Lotus to jump-start your mana pool once your devotion is high enough, providing the initial fuel to get the engine running. While Clock of Omens acts as the structural linchpin—sacrificing the tap capabilities of Staff of Domination and Basalt Monolith to repeatedly refresh the Lotus—Basalt Monolith and the Staff's own untap ability work in tandem to clean up after themselves and reconstruct your available resources. Once this loop of tapping and untapping generates infinite colored mana, Staff of Domination can safely turn that surplus into an absolute victory by drawing your entire deck and gaining infinite life.
