How it works

1. Activate Power Conduit by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, putting two +1/+1 counters on Lonis.
2. Lonis' second ability triggers, creating two Clue artifact tokens.
3. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Clues, untapping Power Conduit.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop is entirely powered by Winding Constrictor, which turns every single counter adjustment into an amplified windfall. When you use Power Conduit to remove a counter and pump Lonis, Genetics Expert, the Constrictor ensures that Lonis receives two +1/+1 counters instead of one, which in turn triggers her to investigate twice and drop a pair of Clue tokens onto the battlefield. You then feed those very same Clues—along with another untapped artifact—into Clock of Omens to constantly untap Power Conduit, letting you strip that newly generated counter right back off to sustain the engine indefinitely.
