How it works

1. Activate Power Conduit by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, putting two +1/+1 counters on Lonis.
2. Lonis' second ability triggers, creating four Clue artifact tokens.
3. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping two Clues, untapping Power Conduit.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop is powered by the counter-doubling majesty of Doubling Season, which turns every single trigger and activation into an avalanche of resources. You begin by using Power Conduit to strip a counter and place a +1/+1 counter on Lonis, Genetics Expert, but Doubling Season doubles that input into two counters—triggering Lonis's ability to investigate twice, which *again* gets doubled by Doubling Season into four pristine Clue tokens. From there, you simply tap two of those newly minted Clues to fuel Clock of Omens, untapping Power Conduit to do it all over again while leaving a trail of infinite +1/+1 counters growing ever larger across your creature base.
