How it works

1. Activate Power Conduit by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
2. Lonis' second ability triggers, creating a Clue token and a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token.
3. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Clue and Thopter, untapping Power Conduit.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a modest engine into an endless generator of artifacts and creatures by feeding on its own momentum. We kick things off with Power Conduit, removing a counter from a permanent to place a +1/+1 counter onto Lonis, Genetics Expert, which triggers Lonis's ability to investigate. Thanks to Stridehangar Automaton's replacement effect, that single Clue generation is amplified to also create an additional Thopter artifact creature token, swelling your board with tokens. Finally, Clock of Omens uses that newly minted Clue and Thopter as the two untapped artifacts to pay its cost, untapping Power Conduit so you can repeat the whole cycle indefinitely.
