How it works

2. When Patron of the Arts enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.

This delightful loop transforms Emiel the Blessed into a self-sustaining engine by taking advantage of Biomancer's Familiar, which slashes the activation cost of Emiel's blink ability down to a single generic mana. With that cost reduction in place, every iteration of the cycle costs just {1} to execute, exactly matching the mana generated when Patron of the Arts enters the battlefield and triggers to create a Treasure token that you immediately sacrifice.
