How it works

1. Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Patron of the Arts with haste.
2. When the Patron of the Arts tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, creating five Treasure artifact tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar three times by sacrificing three Patron of the Arts tokens, adding six C.
4. When the Patron of the Arts tokens die, they trigger, creating three Treasure artifact tokens.
5. Activate six Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
6. Activate Sword of the Paruns by paying 3, untapping Orthion.
7. Repeat.
8. Once you have infinite mana, you may instead target any other creature you control.

This explosive loop turns Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink into a veritable army-in-a-can by leveraging the wonderful influx of value from Patron of the Arts. When Orthion's massive ability drops five copies of the Patron at once, their collective entrance floods the battlefield with Treasure tokens to feed directly into Ashnod's Altar for immediate mana. Meanwhile, Sword of the Paruns provides the crucial untap mechanism needed to ready Orthion for the next iteration, letting you cycle through the loop endlessly. The treasures and sacrifices constantly fuel your mana pool while generating infinite copies of any other creature you desire, completely overwhelming the table.
