How it works
- Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Patron of the Arts with haste.
- When the Patron of the Arts tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, creating five Treasure artifact tokens.
- Activate Thermopod's second ability five times by sacrificing the Patron of the Arts tokens, adding 2.
- When the Patron of the Arts tokens die, they trigger, creating five Treasure artifact tokens.
- Activate seven Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 7.
- Activate Sword of the Paruns by paying 3, untapping Orthion.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may instead target any other creature you control.
This explosive loop centers on leveraging Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink's massive mana ability to multiply value through Patron of the Arts. As the five newly minted Patron of the Arts token copies flood the battlefield, their entry triggers yield a bounty of Treasure tokens, which are immediately fed into Thermopod alongside the Patrons themselves to fuel their sacrifice triggers and net a surplus of mana. To keep the engine running, Sword of the Paruns conveniently steps in to untap Orthion for a modest fee, allowing you to restart the cycle and ultimately overwhelm the board with infinite haste copies of any creature you desire.
