How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking Patron of the Arts.
2. When Patron of the Arts enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in cost reduction, turning a blinking engine into a self-sustaining mana generator. Training Grounds lowers Emiel the Blessed’s activation cost down to just a single mana, making it cheap enough to repeatedly exile and return Patron of the Arts to the battlefield. Every time Patron of the Arts re-enters, its triggered ability creates a Treasure token that you can immediately sacrifice to pay for the next blink, leaving you with an endless cycle of enters-and-leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
