How it works

1. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Budoka Gardener's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Necrotic Ooze.
4. Repeat.

By bestowing all the abilities of your graveyard upon Necrotic Ooze, you create a self-sustaining engine built on land manipulation. First, you tap the Ooze using the activated ability borrowed from Budoka Gardener to drop a land from your hand directly onto the battlefield. Then, you leverage Trench Behemoth's activated ability through the Ooze to bounce that very same land back to your hand, which conveniently untaps your Necrotic Ooze and sets up the loop to begin anew. Because each iteration resets the land's position between your hand and the battlefield, you generate infinite landfall triggers alongside infinite mana from any lands that enter untapped.
