How it works

1. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Auriok Bladewarden's ability by tapping it, giving it +X/+X until end of turn, where X is its power.
2. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
3. Repeat.
4. Once Necrotic Ooze has infinite toughness, you may instead use Devoted Druid's first ability to get infinite green mana.

This clever loop turns Necrotic Ooze into a one-man engine of destruction by leveraging the static abilities of creatures resting in the graveyard. By absorbing Auriok Bladewarden's ability, the Ooze can continuously pump its own power higher and higher. Meanwhile, Devoted Druid provides the vital untap mechanic through its self-inflicted -1/-1 counters, allowing you to repeatedly tap and untap the Ooze to grow it infinitely. Once your creature boasts boundless power and toughness, you can freely switch to tapping it for green mana with Devoted Druid's other ability, netting as much mana as you desire.
