How it works

1. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Sakura-Tribe Scout's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Necrotic Ooze.
4. Repeat.

By harnessing the combined prowess of cards in the graveyard, Necrotic Ooze transforms into a self-sustaining engine. It borrows Sakura-Tribe Scout's tap ability to drop a land onto the battlefield, and then leverages Trench Behemoth's activated ability to bounce that very same land right back to your hand while untapping itself. This creates an infinite loop that endlessly repeats your landfall triggers and allows you to continuously tap any mana-producing lands that enter the battlefield untapped for infinite mana.
