How it works
- Activate Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome by tapping them, adding 2.
- Cast Ghostly Flicker either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome.
- When Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome enters untapped, they trigger.
- Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
- Resolve the Sarevok's Tome trigger, causing you to take the initiative.
- Repeat.
This clever engine leverages Magus of the Future to let you cast spells directly from the top of your library, turning the zone into your hand. By using Ghostly Flicker to constantly blink Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome, you create a self-sustaining loop. Every time Mystic Sanctuary re-enters untapped, its triggered ability lets you place Ghostly Flicker right back onto the top of your library to be played again. Meanwhile, the mana from Sarevok's Tome helps fund the flicker, establishing a continuous cycle of resets and top-deck casting.
