How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the nontoken creature, adding .
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast the creature by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms the top of your library into a recurring staging ground, letting you loop any creature card indefinitely. With Magus of the Future revealing the top card of your library and granting you permission to cast spells directly from it, you have constant access to your resources without ever drawing them into your hand. When you sacrifice that creature to Thermopod, you generate the red mana needed to recast it while simultaneously sending it to the graveyard. That trip to the graveyard immediately triggers Mortuary, which intercepts the card and places it right back on top of your library—waiting for Magus of the Future to let you cast it once again.
