How it works

1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Thaumatog by sacrificing a land.
3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to Archelos.
5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd triggers that many times.
6. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
8. Repeat.

This fascinating loop turns your graveyard into a complete playground by feeding your own resources directly back into the engine. It all begins when you use Thaumatog to clear your lands away, stocking your graveyard while clearing the board for Aftermath Analyst to swoop in with its sacrifice ability and flood the battlefield with every land you just binned. Because Archelos, Lagoon Mystic is holding the line in his untapped state, those lands bypass their usual delays and enter the battlefield ready to work immediately. That sudden influx of landfalls triggers Emeria Shepherd, whose divine grace plucks Aftermath Analyst and any other desired nonland permanents straight out of your graveyard and drops them right onto the battlefield.
