How it works

1. Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Mnemonic Wall.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Mnemonic Wall, adding .
3. When Mnemonic Wall dies, it and any Wicked Role tokens that may be attached to it trigger.
4. If applicable, resolve the Wicked Role trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Mnemonic Wall trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and attaching a Wicked Role token to it.
6. When Mnemonic Wall enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Not Dead After All to your hand from your graveyard.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop lets Mnemonic Wall repeatedly recycle and recast Not Dead After All by leveraging Phyrexian Altar for the mana needed to keep the spell flowing. Every time you sacrifice Mnemonic Wall to the Altar, its own dying trigger brings it right back through Not Dead After All while fetching the spell back to your hand as it enters the battlefield. The Wicked Role token attached along the way turns this perpetual motion machine into a lethal threat, draining life from your opponents with every single iteration.
