How it works

1. Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Shipwreck Dowser.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Shipwreck Dowser, adding .
3. When Shipwreck Dowser dies, it and any Wicked Role tokens that may be attached to it trigger.
4. If applicable, resolve the Wicked Role trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Shipwreck Dowser trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and attaching a Wicked Role token to it.
6. When Shipwreck Dowser enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Not Dead After All to your hand from your graveyard.
7. Repeat.
