How it works

1. Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Revolutionist.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Revolutionist, adding .
3. When Revolutionist dies, it and any Wicked Role tokens that may be attached to it trigger.
4. If applicable, resolve the Wicked Role trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Revolutionist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and attaching a Wicked Role token to it.
6. When Revolutionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Not Dead After All to your hand from your graveyard.
7. Repeat.

This crafty loop lets you recycle your threats endlessly by pairing Revolutionist with Phyrexian Altar to constantly sacrifice it for mana. To keep the cycle going, Not Dead After All grants the necessary undying-style resurrection while conveniently returning to your hand thanks to Revolutionist's enters-the-battlefield trigger. Every iteration of this sequence feeds the Altar and ticks down your opponents with the Wicked Role token's drain ability, letting you grind out a victory through infinite sacrifices.
