How it works

1. Activate Cormela by paying 1 and tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast instant and/or sorcery spells.
2. Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Cormela.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cormela, adding CC.
4. When Cormela dies, it triggers twice, as well as any Wicked Role tokens that may be attached to it.
5. If applicable, resolve the Wicked Role trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
6. Resolve the first Cormela trigger, returning Not Dead After All to your hand from your graveyard.
7. Resolve the second Cormela trigger, returning Cormela from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and attaching a Wicked Role token to it.
8. When Cormela enters the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping it.
9. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Cormela, Glamour Thief into an endless engine of dark magic by continually cycling her through the graveyard with Not Dead After All. Ashnod's Altar provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to fuel the loop while generating colorless mana, and Cormela's own tap ability conveniently covers the spell's black mana cost. Meanwhile, the clever inclusion of Amulet of Vigor ensures that Cormela enters untapped and ready to activate again, while her death trigger effortlessly loops the resurrection spell right back to your hand.
