How it works
- Draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on Nadir Kraken and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- The Tentacle enters the battlefield, triggering Dire Undercurrents' first ability.
- Holding priority, Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding .
- Resolve the Dire Undercurrents trigger, causing you to draw a card.
- Repeat from step 2.
This brilliant loop turns a single card draw into a self-sustaining engine by channeling the passive abilities of your permanent setup. Once you draw, Nadir Kraken rewards you for the action by letting you spend mana to grow and spawn a Tentacle token. That token's arrival triggers Dire Undercurrents to force another draw, but before that resolves, you feed the token to Thermopod to generate the red mana needed to fuel the Kraken's trigger all over again.
