How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating a Food and a Treasure token.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This delightful contraption turns Magmaw into a lethal turret by using Runed Stalactite to cloak it in the essential Pirate disguise. Because Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator rewards your Pirates' damage by minting Treasure tokens, and Peregrin Took generously tacks an extra Food onto every single token generation, you suddenly find yourself awash in disposable artifacts. You simply sacrifice those newly minted treasures and foods back to Magmaw's activation cost, using the generated mana to fuel the loop and ping your opponents to death over and over again.
