How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble equipment into a lethal engine by turning your entire board into a localized artillery battery. With Runed Stalactite attached to Magmaw, the elemental instantly gains the Pirate creature type, allowing its own activated damage-dealing ability to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and generate Treasure tokens. Because Doubling Season is present on the board, every instance of token creation is doubled, turning the single Treasure into a pair of them—yielding more than enough resources to sacrifice, fuel Magmaw's ability, and keep the loop going indefinitely.
