How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.

This clever loop turns your own sacrifice outlet into a lethal engine by manipulating creature types and token generation. By outfitting Magmaw with Runed Stalactite, it becomes a Pirate in addition to its other types, allowing the damage it deals to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and generate Treasure tokens.
