How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Twilight Shepherd.
2. When Twilight Shepherd dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Giada.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Carrion Feeder into an unstoppable growth engine by exploiting the interaction between Twilight Shepherd and Giada, Font of Hope. Whenever Twilight Shepherd is sacrificed to Carrion Feeder, its persist ability would normally bring it back with a -1/-1 counter, but Giada's presence (and the mechanical nature of how counters interact) ensures it returns ready to be sacrificed over and over again. This endless cycle generates infinite death, sacrifice, and entry triggers while continuously pumping up Carrion Feeder's power.
