How it works

1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your combat phase, Helm of the Host triggers, creating a token copy of Izzet Chemister.
3. Activate the Izzet Chemister token's first ability by paying and tapping it, exiling Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard.
4. On your next turn, activate the Izzet Chemister token's last ability by paying 1, tapping it, and sacrificing it, casting the exiled spell without paying its mana cost.
5. Resolve that spell, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
6. Repeat from step 2.

By leveraging Helm of the Host's combat trigger to continuously create non-legendary copies of Izzet Chemister, you ensure a fresh supply of sacrifices every single cycle. Each new Izzet Chemister token uses its tap ability to hoard Temporal Manipulation away in exile, before sacrificing itself to cast that stored sorcery for free. Resolving Temporal Manipulation grants you the extra turn needed to untap your assets, letting the Helm generate another copy and repeat the time-warping loop indefinitely.
