How it works
- Cast Sozin's Comet either from your hand by paying 3 or from exile for its foretell cost by paying 2.
- Declare a creature as an attacker, triggering its firebending ability, adding .
- Move to your postcombat main phase. You will not lose the mana due to Leyline Tyrant.
- Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
- Repeat from step 2.
This explosive loop relies on Leyline Tyrant to safely bank the massive amounts of red mana generated by Sozin's Comet granting firebending 5 to your attacking creatures. Once you move to your postcombat main phase, that stockpiled mana remains securely in your pool thanks to Leyline Tyrant ignoring step-and-phase mana loss. You can then feed that exact mana directly into Aggravated Assault to untap your team and trigger an endless succession of additional combat phases.
