How it works

  1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2U mana.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Great Whale, adding CC.
  3. Fool's Demise's first and second abilities trigger.
  4. Resolve the first Fool's Demise trigger, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
  6. Resolve the second Fool's Demise trigger, returning Fool's Demise to your hand from your graveyard.
  7. Cast Fool's Demise by paying 4U mana, targeting Great Whale.
  8. Repeat.
  9. If the seven lands can tap to produce at least 3U mana, this combo nets infinite mana.
