How it works
Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Palinchron.
Fool's Demise's first and second abilities trigger.
Resolve the first Fool's Demise trigger, returning Palinchron from your graveyard to the battlefield.
When Palinchron enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
Resolve the second Fool's Demise trigger, returning Fool's Demise to your hand from your graveyard.
Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 2, causing target player to mill cards equal to Palinchron's power.
Cast Fool's Demise by paying 4, targeting Palinchron.
Repeat.
If the seven lands can tap to produce at least 5, this combo nets infinite mana.
This loop relies on a brilliant recursive cycle centered around Palinchron, which naturally refunds its own casting cost by untapping seven lands when it enters the battlefield. By enchanting Palinchron with Fool's Demise, any demise triggers the Aura to return the creature to the battlefield while also bouncing itself safely back to your hand. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia provides a reliable sacrifice outlet that turns each iteration into a lethal wave of milling. As long as your lands generate enough mana to recast the Aura, you can repeat this process indefinitely to completely mill out your opponents.
