How it works

  1. Cast Grave Sifter for its evoke cost by paying 2 due to Semblance Anvil.
  2. When Grave Sifter enters, its first ability and evoke abilities trigger.
  3. Resolve the first trigger, returning Catalyst Elemental from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Resolve the second trigger, sacrificing Grave Sifter.
  5. When Grave Sifter dies, Ashling triggers, creating a token copy of Grave Sifter with haste.
  6. When the Grave Sifter token enters, it triggers, returning Grave Sifter from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Cast Catalyst Elemental by paying R mana due to Semblance Anvil.
  8. Activate Catalyst Elemental by sacrificing it, adding R manaR mana.
  9. When Catalyst Elemental dies, Ashling triggers, creating a token copy of Catalyst Elemental with haste.
  10. Activate the Catalyst Elemental token by sacrificing it, adding R manaR mana.
  11. Repeat.
