How it works

1. Cast Skilled Animator by paying 2.
2. Aetherflux Reservoir triggers, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
3. When Skilled Animator enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing Aetherflux Reservoir to become a 5/5 artifact creature.
4. Give Aetherflux Reservoir lifelink.
5. Activate Aetherflux Reservoir by paying 50 life, dealing 50 damage to any target and causing you to gain 50 life.
6. Repeat step 5.

This loop transforms Aetherflux Reservoir from a passive lifegain amplifier into a lethal, self-sustaining engine by turning it into a creature using Skilled Animator. Once the artifact is a 5/5 creature, you can grant it lifelink so that its own massive life-payment ability immediately replenishes the 50 life you paid to activate it. This creates a closed loop where Aetherflux Reservoir can repeatedly fire 50 damage at any target, cycling through its own life cost and lifelink healing indefinitely.
