How it works
- Draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Essence Warden triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Oloro's second ability triggers.
- Holding prioirty, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding CC.
- Resolve the Oloro trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card and cause each opponent to lose 1 life.
- Repeat.
This engine transforms a simple draw step into a self-sustaining loop by weaving together life manipulation and creature generation. Nadir Kraken acts as your engine's heart, turning every drawn card into a Tentacle token by funding it with the colorless mana generated when Ashnod's Altar sacrifices that very same token. Meanwhile, Essence Warden and Oloro, Ageless Ascetic feed into one another: every creature entering the battlefield grants you life, which in turn triggers Oloro to pay a mana, drain your opponents, and draw you another card to keep the sequence rolling.
