How it works
Draw a card.
Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Impassioned Orator triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
Oloro's second ability triggers.
Holding prioirty, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding CC.
Resolve the Oloro trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card and cause each opponent to lose 1 life.
Repeat.
This clever loop spins entirely around the constant exchange of resources between life, mana, and cards. It all begins when you draw a card, which prompts Nadir Kraken to offer a Tentacle token in exchange for a single mana. As that new creature enters the fray, Impassioned Orator rewards your piety with a quick burst of life, immediately waking up Oloro, Ageless Ascetic's drain-and-draw trigger. You then feed the newly minted Tentacle to Ashnod's Altar to harvest the colorless mana needed to pay for Oloro's trigger, netting you a brand new card and sustaining the cycle indefinitely while slowly draining the table.
