How it works
- Draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Leyline of Vitality triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Oloro's second ability triggers.
- Holding prioirty, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding CC.
- Resolve the Oloro trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card and cause each opponent to lose 1 life.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns a simple card draw into a self-sustaining engine by chaining together creature tokens, lifegain, and mana generation. Whenever you draw a card, Nadir Kraken invites you to pay mana to grow larger and spawn a Tentacle token, which immediately triggers Leyline of Vitality to reward you with life. That sudden lifegain activates Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, letting you pay a single mana to draw another card, while Ashnod's Altar stands ready to sacrifice the newly minted Tentacle to fund the entire process and keep the loop spinning indefinitely.
