How it works
- Draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Pious Evangel triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Oloro's second ability triggers.
- Holding prioirty, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding CC.
- Resolve the Oloro trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card and cause each opponent to lose 1 life.
- Repeat.
This clever loop feeds on itself by turning the act of drawing cards into a self-sustaining engine of life and resources. As you draw, Nadir Kraken creates a Tentacle token that triggers Pious Evangel to gain you life, which in turn fuels Oloro, Ageless Ascetic to draw yet another card. Meanwhile, Ashnod's Altar is there to turn that very same Tentacle token into the colorless mana needed to keep the cycle spinning endlessly.
