How it works
- Draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Auriok Champion triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Oloro's second ability triggers.
- Holding prioirty, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding CC.
- Resolve the Oloro trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card and cause each opponent to lose 1 life.
- Repeat.
This looping engine turns a single card draw into an infinite storm of resources by feeding itself through a clever web of triggers. Every time you draw, Nadir Kraken creates a Tentacle token that immediately triggers Auriok Champion to grant you life, which in turn wakes up Oloro, Ageless Ascetic to pay for and fuel your next card draw. By sacrificing that very same Tentacle to Ashnod's Altar along the way, you generate the colorless mana needed to keep the Kraken's optional costs perpetually paid.
