How it works

1. Draw a card.
2. Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it, and to create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
3. The Tentacle enters the battlefield, triggering Mana Echoes and Symmetry Matrix.
4. Resolve the Mana Echoes, adding C for each Tentacle you control.
5. Resolve the Symmetry Matrix trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This self-sustaining loop relies on a clever cycle of card drawing and creature generation. When you draw a card, Nadir Kraken prompts you to invest a mana for a +1/+1 counter and a 1/1 Tentacle token. That new token entering the battlefield immediately wakes up Symmetry Matrix—whose power matches its toughness—allowing you to pay that same mana right back into drawing another card. Meanwhile, Mana Echoes amplifies your colorless mana reserves with every new Tentacle that arrives, fueling the entire engine while leaving you with a steadily growing Kraken and an army of cephalopod tokens.
