How it works

1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing another creature, adding .
2. Smothering Abomination's second ability triggers, causing you to draw a card.
3. Nadir Kraken triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
4. Repeat.

This looping engine relies on Smothering Abomination to turn every sacrifice into fresh cards, which immediately feed right back into Nadir Kraken's triggered ability to pump out a steady stream of 1/1 Tentacle creature tokens and +1/+1 counters by paying the required mana. To fuel that ongoing cost, Thermopod steps in with its sacrifice outlet ability, turning those newly minted Tentacle tokens into the red mana you need to keep the Kraken's ability going while simultaneously triggering Smothering Abomination all over again. By feeding the board into the Thermopod and immediately rebuilding it with the Nadir Kraken, you create a self-sustaining cycle that generates an endless stream of card draw and sacrificed fodder.
