How it works
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing another creature, adding 1.
- Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- Repeat.
This clever loop replaces your natural draw step with Dragon Appeasement, which turns every creature sacrifice into a fresh card drawn. Feeding that newly drawn card directly into Nadir Kraken allows you to pay the required mana to grow the Kraken with a +1/+1 counter and spawn a 1/1 Tentacle token. That very same Tentacle token can then be immediately fed back into Phyrexian Altar to generate the mana needed to keep the cycle spinning infinitely.
