How it works
- Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing another creature, adding .
- Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- Repeat.
By using Thermopod to sacrifice a creature into red mana, you trigger Dragon Appeasement to bypass your skipped draw step and draw a card. That newly drawn card immediately feeds Nadir Kraken, whose triggered ability lets you spend that mana to grow the Kraken and spawn a fresh 1/1 Tentacle creature token to keep the sacrifice engine rolling.
