Ayula, Queen Among Bears + Sekki, Seasons' Guide + Kudo, King Among Bears
How it works
- Cast Sekki by paying 5.
- Sekki enters the battlefield as a Bear due to Kudo.
- Ayula triggers, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control.
- Sekki removes a number of +1/+1 counters from it equal to the damage it would've been dealt and creates that many 1/1 Spirit creature tokens, which are Bears due to Kudo.
- When the Spirit Bear(s) enter the battlefield, Ayula triggers that many times.
- If Sekki is on the battlefield, resolve an Ayula trigger, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control, and then repeat from step 3.
- If Sekki is not on the battlefield, activate Sekki by sacrificing eight Spirits, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Bear with eight +1/+1 counters on it due to Kudo.
- If Sekki entered the battlefield, Ayula triggers, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control.
- Repeat from step 3.
This magnificent loop turns your entire board into a relentless hunting pack by combining Kudo, King Among Bears' ability to turn all other creatures into Bears with Ayula, Queen Among Bears' powerful ETB triggers. When Sekki, Seasons' Guide enters the battlefield—naturally arriving as a Bear under Kudo's watchful eye—Ayula prompts it to fight an opponent's creature, which causes Sekki to trade its own +1/+1 counters for a horde of Spirit tokens that Kudo also makes Bears. Those new Spirit Bears immediately trigger Ayula all over again, fueling a devastating chain reaction that can clear away every creature your opponents control. Even if Sekki falls in battle, sacrificing eight of those Spirits lets you return Sekki right back from the graveyard to restart the carnage.
