How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Nephalia Smuggler by paying 3 and tapping it, blinking Great Whale.
3. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
4. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying , untapping Nephalia Smuggler.
5. Repeat.
6. If you control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least 4, this combo nets infinite mana.

This ingenious loop turns a simple smuggler and a giant leviathan into a self-sustaining mana engine. By enchanting Nephalia Smuggler with Freed from the Real, you gain the ability to untap the Smuggler for a single blue mana, while the Smuggler's activated ability handles the heavy lifting of blinking Great Whale in and out of exile. Every time Great Whale hits the battlefield, its entry trigger untaps your lands to replenish your mana pool, leaving you with a surplus that easily pays for the activation costs of Freed from the Real and Nephalia Smuggler.
