How it works

1. Cast Fiend Hunter by paying its mana cost.
2. When Fiend Hunter enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic.
3. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Fiend Hunter.
4. When Fiend Hunter dies, its second ability triggers, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from exile to the battlefield.
5. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters, it triggers, returning Fiend Hunter from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Fiend Hunter enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic.
7. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop sets up an endless cycle of rebirth by letting Fiend Hunter and Metamorphosis Fanatic endlessly trigger one another's entry abilities, infinitely recurring from exile and the graveyard. With Bloodflow Connoisseur waiting in the wings as the designated executioner, you can feed Fiend Hunter to the Connoisseur to break the temporary exile lock, which immediately springs Metamorphosis Fanatic back to the battlefield to bring the Hunter right back. Because Metamorphosis Fanatic returns the Hunter and the Hunter in turn exiles the Fanatic right back out, you generate boundless sacrifices and death triggers while growing the Bloodflow Connoisseur into a terrifyingly massive threat with infinite +1/+1 counters.
