How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Extraction Specialist.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Extraction Specialist, adding CC.
3. When Extraction Specialist dies, Saffi triggers, returning Extraction Specialist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Extraction Specialist enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a persistent cycle of resurrection into an endless stream of resources. By sacrificing Saffi Eriksdotter to put a delayed return trigger on Extraction Specialist, you set the stage for Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice the Specialist for two colorless mana. That death immediately satisfies Saffi's condition to bring the Specialist right back, which in turn triggers the Specialist's entry ability to pull Saffi out of the graveyard and back to the battlefield. Because Saffi's target is chosen upon activation rather than resolution, the loop is completely self-sustaining, generating infinite mana, deaths, and entries while letting you repeat the process at will.
