How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Extraction Specialist.
2. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Extraction Specialist.
3. When Extraction Specialist dies, Saffi triggers, returning Extraction Specialist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Extraction Specialist enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 2, causing target player to mill cards equal to Extraction Specialist's power.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on a recursive resurrection cycle between Saffi Eriksdotter and Extraction Specialist, where each card brings the other right back from the graveyard. Saffi Eriksdotter sets up a delayed trigger to return Extraction Specialist upon its death, and when Extraction Specialist enters the battlefield, its own triggered ability reaches into the graveyard to pull Saffi Eriksdotter right back out. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia takes full advantage of this endless exchange by converting the perpetual sacrifice of Extraction Specialist into infinite mill, safely milling out your opponents deck card by card.
