How it works

1. Activate Skirge Familiar by discarding a card, adding .
2. Glint-Horn Buccaneer triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent.
3. Niv-Mizzet triggers, causing you to draw that many cards.

This clever loop turns your hand into a self-sustaining engine of destruction by letting Skirge Familiar discard cards to generate black mana, which fuels the activation costs you need. Every time you pitch a card to the Familiar, Glint-Horn Buccaneer triggers to ping your opponents for damage. That noncombat damage immediately satisfies Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, who refills your hand by drawing you a card for each point of damage dealt, letting you feed the engine all over again.
