How it works

1. If Enduring Vitality is not a creature, activate Zur by paying 1, causing Enduring Vitality to become a creature.
2. Activate Enduring Vitality by tapping it, adding .
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar's second ability by sacrificing Enduring Vitality, adding CC.
4. When Enduring Vitality dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as an enchantment.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Enduring Vitality into a self-sustaining sacrifice engine by transforming its nature entirely. First, Zur, Eternal Schemer animates the Enduring Vitality enchantment into a creature, granting it deathtouch, lifelink, and hexproof while enabling its static mana-producing ability. You then tap the animated Enduring Vitality for mana using the granting effect from its own text, before feeding it to Ashnod's Altar to generate colorless energy. Because Enduring Vitality's own death trigger brings it right back to the battlefield as an enchantment, it resets cleanly, ready to be animated and sacrificed all over again in an endless loop—while Samut, Voice of Dissent sits by ready to assist with untapping duties or haste if needed for your broader board state.
