How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Guan Yu.
2. When Guan Yu dies, it, Deathrender and Remembrance trigger.
3. Resolve the Guan Yu trigger, causing you to shuffle it into your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, causing you to search your library for Guan Yu and put it into your hand.
5. Resolve the Deathrender trigger, putting Guan Yu from your hand onto the battlefield, and attaching Deathrender to it.
6. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Carrion Feeder into an unstoppable, infinitely growing threat by exploiting Guan Yu, Sainted Warrior's unique self-shuffling death trigger. When you sacrifice Guan Yu, multiple triggers go on the stack: Remembrance lets you instantly pluck Guan Yu right back out of your library into your hand, while Deathrender takes advantage of that exact death to slam Guan Yu back onto the battlefield for free and re-equip itself. Because Guan Yu's own replacement-like graveyard trigger resolves alongside them, the legendary warrior is constantly recycled between your graveyard, library, hand, and battlefield without ever running out of fuel.
