How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters, Juniper Order Ranger triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and Juniper Order Ranger.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat

This clever loop turns the natural push-and-pull of counters into a self-sustaining engine. While Bloodflow Connoisseur provides the sacrifice outlet to send your persist creature to the graveyard over and over, Juniper Order Ranger acts as the mechanical heart of the operation by dropping a +1/+1 counter onto that creature every time it re-enters. Because +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters instantly annihilate each other upon meeting, the newly revived creature wipes away its own penalty and is left primed to die and return endlessly.
