How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters, Juniper Order Ranger triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and Juniper Order Ranger.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
5. Repeat

This ingenious loop relies on a clever counter-neutralizing interaction to squeeze infinite damage and triggers out of any creature with persist. While Goblin Bombardment provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to repeatedly send your creature to the graveyard, it also weaponizes those deaths into an unending stream of direct damage. The magic truly happens thanks to Juniper Order Ranger, whose static entry trigger places a +1/+1 counter on the returning creature just in time to cancel out the -1/-1 counter from persist. This leaves the creature entirely fresh and ready to be sacrificed all over again, turning a modest sacrifice engine into an infinitely repeating doom for your opponents.
