How it works

1. Cast Ajani's Presence by paying , giving a creature an opponent controls indestructible until end of turn.
2. Deal noncombat damage to the indestructible creature.
3. Toralf triggers, dealing damage equal to the excess to an opponent.
4. Fear of Burning Alive triggers, dealing damage equal to the damage Toralf dealt to the indestructible creature.
5. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop transforms Fear of Burning Alive into a recursive engine by leveraging delirium to bounce damage back and forth, turning a single strike into infinite punishment for your foes. The secret lies in using Ajani's Presence to grant an opponent's creature indestructible, ensuring it can absorb endless punishment without biting the dust. Once that perpetual punching bag is in place, Toralf, God of Fury steps in to redirect any excess noncombat damage straight at your opponent, which in turn triggers Fear of Burning Alive to fuel the cycle all over again.
