Normally, Leonardo would brand the returning creature with a finality counter to exile it upon its next demise, but Solemnity acts as an absolute ward that completely shuts down counters from ever being placed on your permanents. Without that restriction sticking, Memnite enters the battlefield clean every single time, ready to be sacrificed back into Ashnod's Altar for an endless engine of triggers, mana, and storm count.
